Tasting Notes
2006 Blanc de Noir Sparkling

"This fabulously complex and satisfying fizz, with its very fine bead and alluring flashes of bronze in the glass, has gorgeous aromas and flavours of grilled nuts and wild strawberries. Drink with smoked salmon". ~Max Allen
2010 Riesling
Palest green straw in colour, with a highly fragrant nose of passionfruit and cut pineapple. Generous palate of limes, sweet pineapple and minerality, well balanced by some zesty acid to give a crisp dry finish. Wonderful drinking now and will cellar till 2020.
Serve chilled. 12.1% alc/vol.
"The Brook Eden site in the Pipers River region is one of the coolest in Tasmania and produces aromatic wines that make a real style statement. This was one of the stars of my tasting at Festivale, a pale, lean Riesling with a tropical fruit nose that gives way to a citrus-dominated palate with lemon, lime and grapefruit characters, minerality and some very lively acid. It weighs in at just 12.1% alcohol and is downright delicious. Great with spicy dishes or as an after-work pick-me-up." Winsor Dobbin

Bright straw in colour with a delicate nose of fresh cut pineapple, banana and a hint of smoky oak. The palate is soft, elegant and creamy with hints of nectarine, lemon and white peach. It has generous length and a clean crisp finish. This wine will benefit from 1-2 years cellaring, becoming richer and more complex.
Served chilled 12.7%alc/vol
"Perfumed, floral nose, with rich stone-fruit aromas. Overt, peach, pear and nectarine flavours with a silky texture, good length and harmony. You can barely see the oak, which is what I like" -Huon Hooke
"Shows fuller, richer flavours than some of it's Tassie companions. The wine's ready now, but will develop further richness over a couple of years. It was a pleasure to find these flavours in a wine of only 12.7 % alcohol". -Nick Bullied MW
2009 Pinot Rosé

Has the hallmarks of a wine which will develop significantly becoming richer and more complex over the next 3-5 years.
